How to remove a link from a file

1. Remove the non graphic linked layer in your LAYERS DESCRIPTION box. (This is the layer that contains all the link

  information.)

2. To remove it simply right click the layer e.g. PROVINCE DATA and click REMOVE LAYER.

3. Remove the link from the shapefile.

4. Right click the shapefile layer that contains the link and click PROPERTIES.

5. Click the LINKS tab.

6. Make sure the link is selected.

7. Click REMOVE LINK.

8. Click YES to remove the selected link.

9. Click OK when you are finished.
