Copy Coordinates

§ THE COPY COORDINATES BUTTONS ALLOW YOU TO COPY COORDINATES AT A SPECIFIC POINT ON YOUR MAP

 AND PASTE THESE COORDINATES TO YOUR SPREADSHEET. (YOU CAN USE THIS TOOL TO UPDATE ANY

INCORRECT COORDINATES IN YOUR SPREADSHEET  - SIMPLY COPY THE CORRECT COORDINATES FROM THE MAP

AND PASTE THEM OVER THE INCORRECT COORDINATES; THE POINT WILL AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE TO THE

CORRECT LOCATION ON YOUR MAP.)

§ THE COPY COORDS 2D BUTTON COPIES LONGITUDE AND LATITUDE VALUES ONLY (X;Y).

§ THE COPY COORDS 3D BUTTON COPIES THE LONGITUDE, LATITUDE AND HEIGHT VALUES (X;Y;Z) FOR USERS

 WORKING WITH 3D DRAWINGS.

Here is an example for copying 2D coordinates:

1. Click the COPY COORDS 2D button.

2. When you move to your map you should see a + X,Y cross hair display.

3. Left click the required point on the map - the centre of the cross (+) is the point that will be copied to clipboard.

4. Move to the spreadsheet and right click copy paste / control V to paste the coordinates to the spreadsheet.

( LONGITUDE (X) is always pasted first, then LATITUDE (Y).)
