❖The Select by clicking tool allows you to select individual elements in your scene by clicking; by clicking on the same element again you can unselect it. This tool will be greyed in the tab when you select it indicating that it is now active, the tool will remain active until you select it again at which point it will be ungreyed and no longer active:
