❖You can also have Formulae specified for a Table, this is a calculation based on the Table. A Formula can be specified that gets sums of totals for the Table etc. In this example I have no Formulas set up for my Table but to add one, right click on the Table and say Add Formula:
Give it a name:
And the Table Formula is then added and can then be specified:
Once the Details pane has been brought up for an item that you double clicked, and you then click on other nodes in the tree, to show the original column that the Details pane is currently showing for you can click the Show in Tree button:
❖Objects, Tables and Columns can be copied and pasted; you can choose to copy out the whole item, just the structure (without the data), just the name or just the code. By copying out the structure you can easily replicate a whole model and then fill in the new data with the same structure and formulae there already for you. Here I chose to copy out the Structure of the Logistics object and then I paste it:
If I highlight Children and then paste it will be pasted as a child object, however if I select on another Object and paste it will be pasted as an Object before or after that one depending on what you select:
(If you select Under when pasting it will paste as a Child Object of the currently selected Object)
This is how you can navigate and work with your Model with the tree structure; the same principles apply for each other Object, Table etc. in your Model.
