The first time you receive a Spatial Reader file, you will need to install SpatialIQ Software.
1. Download & Install SpatialIQ
Follow the steps to download and install SpatialIQ (this is for when you have received a .exe version of the file):
1.Make sure you have an internet connection
2.Double click the Spatial Reader file
3.Click ‘Yes’ when asked to do download SpatialIQ from Prime Thought website
4.The download should take a couple of minutes
5.When the download is complete, the Spatial Reader file should open automatically. If not, double click the Spatial Reader file again to open
6.If the following error message appears –‘this program might not have installed correctly’ click the second option ‘This program installed correctly’.
Once you have installed the software on your machine you will not need to do so again, until a newer version of SpatialIQ is available. The software will prompt you to download and install the latest version.
1a. Receiving a .spatial file
If you have been sent a .spatial version of the Spatial Reader file then you will be sent another file along with it which is the spatialiqsetup.exe file. This file will install the SpatialIQ software which is necessary to open reader files:
Double click on this file and it will install the SpatialIQ software and will let you know it is successful when its done:
You can now double click on the reader file to open it and it will open:
